“We have a contemporary Lindal home and had just added a dining room, and a beautiful new kitchen with an adjoining family room. Brenda [Blatchford Cirioni] came with her portfolio, her color collection and helped us to discover what we wanted. Together we picked out the color for the dining room, and based on the information gathered in our discussion, Brenda made sample boards. It was helpful to know just what we would be getting.
“We also decided the kitchen countertops needed a backsplash so we again went through the process of selecting the right color combination and the right decorative technique. Brenda then developed more samples. It was a great success!
“A year later when we wanted the family room painted, we had Brenda came over to take a look. She immediately thought of a contemporary mural for one freestanding wall. After explaining the concept to us, it sounded so good again we had her make a sample and then went forward. It’s perfect for the room, our house and us. I feel good every time I look at it – which is often because it is central to the house. It came out fabulous. We can never leave here now!”

“We recently moved to a loft in Boston and hired MaisonArt and interior designer Eliza Tan to transform the new space into our home. Brenda did several different techniques throughout the loft, really warming it up and giving each room an individual look while maintaining a thematic flow throughout.
“Eliza designed a medallion using decorative tiles for the center of the main bathroom floor. For the sink she used a sleek, contemporary table and bowl with contemporary fixtures coming out of the wall. I loved it. Brenda and Eliza came up with the idea to paint the backsplash to look like the one-inch tiles in the medallion.
“When I got home from work that evening I flipped on the bath light and gasped, ‘Oh my God!’ – that is how stunning it looks. The painted tiles tie the whole room together. Your eye first catches the medallion on the floor but then travel to the sink and the backsplash that complete the design. It’s brilliant.”
